A single vineyard blend made with a base of old vine Cabernet and complimented and expanded by the other Bordeaux varieties of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This Margaret River blend is made to showcase the attributes of these other varieties to make a medium bodied wine displaying an array of fruit characters with flesh, depth and complexity.
49% cabernet sauvignon, 21% merlot, 14% malbec, 9% petit verdot and 7% cabernet franc. The sure hand of winemaker Mark Messenger comes through all the Juniper and Higher Plane wines, this typical of his ability to mix and match fruit, tannin and oak. It's a mouthwatering medium-bodied wine, deep cassis and plum fruits establishing the terms of reference.
