The fruit is grown on the Scorpo family vineyard. The Pinot Noir grapes (MV6 and Abel) were picked by hand and given a three-day cold soak before natural-yeast fermentation in stainless steel with a small portion of whole clusters included. Pressed after the start of fermentation, with 20% in new oak and the remainder in 1- to 3-year-old barrels. Suitable for vegans.
MV6 and Abel clones, hand-picked and vinified differently with some inclusion of whole bunches (10%), MV6 in concrete, Abel in stainless steel. A perfumed bouquet leads into a spicy/savoury palate with blood plum and black cherry fruits with very good follow through on the finish.
