Brilliant very pale straw, some luminescent greens. The nose is highly restrained, subtle with hints of grapefruit, white peach, brioche and spice. Complexing very tight grain oak is in the background and ensures the structure and integrity of the wine is in lace for at least 10 years in bottle
From a single block of I10V1 clone and grafted Mendoza clone (ex Yabby Lake), hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented (33% mlf) and matured in French oak (35% new). An exceedingly pure and fine wine, grapefruit (pink and white), white peach and pear, the oak absorbed in magical fashion.
