2017 Brokenwood Wade Block 2 Shiraz, McLaren Vale

Typical McLaren Vale flavours of abundant black fruit, dark chocolate and Turkish Delight. Perfect McLaren Vale Shiraz colour with deep purple hues and mouth coating tannins. This oak regime is all French, with approximately 25% being new which adds a vanillin note to the finish. A full-bodied wine with layers of flavour.

Matured for 16 months in French oak. A most attractive wine, taking full advantage of the vintage with its supple medium-bodied weight and mouthfeel. Then there's the McLaren Vale dark chocolate, blackberry and fine tannins to come into focus. It ticks all the boxes.
