In some respects, I prefer the way the entry level Nebbiolo presents over its cru big brothers and sisters. It’s all about the fruit, without as much winemaking scaffolding. Well, surely this is a Langhe Neb for Pinot drinkers. It’s bright and red fruited, perfumed with aniseed and sweet new leather... Anyway, medium-bodied, at most, crisp and crunchy, light in chalky tannin, frisky in freshness, with a succulent and pretty red fruited finish of fine length. Lovely drink here.
