A brightly aromatic wine offering great clarity of varietal character. Nashi pear, honeydew melon, grapefruit, hint of cinnamon and hazelnut all intermingle elegantly on the nose. The mouthfeel is smooth, fine and focused with fleshy fruit texture like biting into a juicy ripe pear with other flavours of salted nougat, fresh hazelnuts and citrus like acidity making for a long and satisfying finish. Wonderful as a stand-alone drink or a perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood. Suitable for vegans
Estate-grown, 30% whole-bunch pressed straight to barrel and 4 months on lees, the balance tank-fermented and aged on lees without stirring. The winemaking has enhanced a naturally textured wine with even greater 3D effect. Fascinating.
