The flagship pinot, hand-picked from a single block, a portion wild-fermented with whole bunches, matured for 12 months in French barriques. Very light colour, at the extreme for table wine; in the manner of pinot noir, there is much more flavour, and in clear-cut varietal garb, than expected. Red fruits are the key, lying at the heart of the wine.
