The red ironstone soils sweep across the northeast of the Barossa Valley including the Stockwell district. Matured in French oak (50% new) for 20 months. This is a very attractive medium-bodied wine with notes of spice and licorice studded in the blackberry and plum fruit, the tannins playing a gentle hand.
