Vibrant ruby red. Aromas of intense mixed berry compote, with fragrant spice, and floral notes. A palate of red and black fruit purity, supported by fine tannins structure, providing a wonderfully textured and long finish.
Bright, medium to light red/purple colour, excellent hue. The bouquet is fresh and cherry-like, with spicy touches and some smoked-meaty notes from barrels. The wine is very intense and elegant, beautifully-poised and refined, with terrific drive and length. A typically elegant, streamlined, precise Tasmanian pinot of great charm and potential. And very good value. (Whole-berry ferments with 20% whole-bunches. Aged in 25% new puncheons and barriques)
