Lovely, complex bouquet, with a range of nut aromas, a buttery overtone, the palate rich and full-bodied, ample and generous, at the same time tighly focused and incisive, with very good depth and persistence. Impressive, delicious wine. The palate length is amazing.

60+ year old vines, in the upper portion of the cru. Pine and hazelnut, white nectarine/peach flavour, cinnamon and biscuit oak, ripe stonefruit flavour, succulent, but has finesse with the flint and fine acidity keeps it all tight and humming along. Superb. A little bit of extract on the finish just adds to the charm.
