Restrained, tight bouquet of straw and cashewnut, oatmeal and creamy lees. Subtle toasted nuts later. A wine of reserved power and understated complexity, formidable refinement and intensity, drive and tension, the flavour lingering on and on. Exquisite! A very fine, elegant, precise wine with a bright future.

One of the nicest crus for Meursault. 40+ year old vines here. Getting a little more serious here. Hazelnuts, a wisp of smoke, pear and green apple, has zip and energy, plenty of extract and grip, bold finish and great length. Top shelf. They’ve done really well in 2018.
