Shiny dark robe; strong reduction masks the nose, so this demands decanting and air. The bouquet is large, has an oxtail depth, a deeply set aroma of raspberry liqueur, a hint of violets in back. The palate gives fleshy content, is juicy and peppery. This is open and accessible, could be more refined. It can be drunk now. 13.5°. There’s definite depth in the bouquet which has a sturdy interior, gives dark berry fruits, black olives, is an STGT Beaumont-Monteux.
