2016 The Yard Justin Vineyard Shiraz, Frankland River

The grapes for this wine are form some of the oldest Shiraz vines in the State. A  perfumed bouquet of Morello cherry, black pepper and charred cinnamon spice. A  long elegant Shiraz which has silky light tannins that are juicy and complex with ripe  fruit flavours and great length.

It presents black cherry, herb flower, campfire and sweet spice notes in elegant form, tannin then rippling over smooth stones through the finish. It never gives up on either fruitiness or savouriness, and adds a gentle, well-integrated creaminess to the texture. Every egg a bird.
