2020 Marchand & Burch Villages Pinot Noir Rose, Great Southern

The 2020 Marchand & Burch Rosé is made from premium Great Southern Shiraz and Grenache from the Swan Valley. It reflects a contemporary style while taking cues from an admired tradition of dry, delectable, divine Rosé wines from the Southern French region of Provence.

This rosé is an attractive pale pink with a delicate orange blush – the nose somewhat reticent at first but then opening up to reveal smoky strawberry, musk, vanilla cream and red fruits. The palate is fresh and balanced with orchard fruits, mixed berries, red currant, fennel and tangerine flavours, melding sweet and savoury notes with a chalky, powdery texture that promotes length and a clean, dry finish.
