Bracing acidity is the hallmark of this linear white, driving the melon, apple and vanilla flavors. Not super long, yet satisfying and balanced, with spice accents echoing on the finish. Drink now through 2024.

2017 Vintage Reviews
Captivating nose combines white fruits, mint and menthol, lifted by powdered stone and a floral topnote. More saline than the foregoing samples, conveying a dry but round umami character and notes of minerals and menthol. Less open than the Boudriotte, with its substantial alcohol supported by flavor intensity.

One of the riper, richer wines in the range this year is the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot, a wine that exhibits aromas of ripe pears, acacia honey, white flowers and toasted nuts. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, thick and muscular, with ripe acids and a fleshy core of fruit. This is a rich Morgeot that's certainly marked by the sunshine of the vintage, more so even than the 2015 rendition.
