The 2019er Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Auslese was made with only little botrytis impact. It offers a stunningly pure and delicate nose of yellow peach, pear, almond cream, smoke, white minerals, candied grapefruit, and aniseed herbs. The wine proves smooth, juicy, creamy, and slightly on the sweet side on the palate at this stage, but its lightness and finesse are breathtaking. Despite all the sweetness and richness at play, there is a subtle sense of balance. The finish is tighter and more focused. This noble-sweet wine will require quite some time to integrate its richness and intense flavors but it will be a smasher at maturity.

An absolute beauty. Offers stunningly clean botrytis notes in its aromatic constellation of peach, mango, orange, a nice pull of minerality, honeycomb, lime blossoms and citrus zest. On the palate it is pure, fullish, very complex and zesty, with a great core, outstanding focus and grip, a lovely girdle of acidity and stunning length on the perfectly balanced and vibrant finish. Brilliant auslese!

Very clear, bright, fresh and flinty on the coolish, pure and spicy nose with aromas of lime rind. Sweet, lush and finessed on the palate, this is a pure, piquant, highly elegant, tight and intense auslese with very attractive fruit and a dense, super-stimulating, salty and grippy finish that gives a great counterpoint to the sweetness. Outstanding! 7.5% alcohol.
