A ripe and reasonably fresh nose combines notes of plum and various red berries that are laced with discreet earth nuances. The sleek, vibrant and delicious flavors exude a lovely salinity on the mildly tangy and warm finish that offers unusually good depth and persistence. This is a relatively powerful wine for its level and despite a nit or two, it's really quite good.

Tasted from bottle, the 2018 Bourgogne Rouge offers gutsy red berry fruit on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded, soft tannins, tart red cherries and mulberry toward the simple, easygoing finish. Fine.
