The release of the 2019 Pinot Noir sees a return to cork and wax seal and 6 packs with the elegant multi-clone Pinot Noir that was sourced from the same 20-year-old Vineyard as the 2018 30% and 2017 original release.
Produced with a continual focus on minimal intervention with 35% whole bunch, basket pressed, and aged in older oak barrels for 12 months. The wine was then racked and held in stainless steel tank for six months prior to bottling.
The wine shows depth and character of red fruits, culinary herbs, bramble, and leafy forest floor on the nose. These characters carry to the palate which is vibrant and luscious. The 2019 Petrichor is an incredibly elegant and feminine representation of Pinot Noir, the wine has significant power, length, and balance on the palate. Layered and complex, this textural wine is a wonderful pairing for complex dishes and aged hard cheeses.
