The 2017 Rully is a great success, revealing an expressive bouquet of spicy cherry fruit, dark chocolate and rich soil tones, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand palate with succulent acids, supple tannins and an expansive finish. This is one of the most unabashedly delicious Rully reds that I can remember tasting from Vincent Dureuil.

Dureuil’s village Rully is drawn from five organically managed plots—Maizières, Rosey, Montagne de Remenot and two parcels in En Guesnes—which cover just under three hectares in total. The average age of these vines is now 50 years.
