A deep, north-facing slope; replanted in '71, this is a different voltage aromatically: lilac, Turkish delight and Middle Eastern souk. A deep ruby verging on opaque. Thoroughly exotic. Less pulpy than the Dam Block, less earthy and tannic-authoritative than the Belford. A nice splay of differentiation across these single site wines, with this, a stream of expanding sweet fruit. This is the belly dancer.
