The press release mentions that this was aged in bottle for five years but it was also barrel matured, which gives the old maths a workout. It's rich with custard powder and honeysuckle-like aroma and flavour, stone fruit and toast characters powering through. Personality, it has plenty. Alcohol warmth mars the finish but it remains quite an experience.
