Small fermenters (0.5-1t fermenters - very small), daily plunging or rack and return, matured for 24 months in French barrels. At the extreme of high quality full-bodied shiraz, pointing to sparse yields from small berries. This wine could not have been manipulated in the winery to achieve its juicy intensity, with fresh sparklets of black fruits, spice and pepper bursting throughout, tannin and oak merely doing their duty.
