The Beaujolais Villages “Combe aux Jacques” is vinified similarly to other wines of the region, with a semi carbonic maceration. Part is vinified in the Maison Louis Jadot winery at Combe aux Jacques, and part is bought as wine from good, long-term growers.
Delicate and fresh, this is the perfect Sunday afternoon or supper wine. It’s not too heavy which makes it very user friendly and easy drinking. Succulent plummy fruit and soft tannins are the focus of this lovely red. Serve it chilled to enhance the delicious fruit and freshness. Makes an excellent pair to pasta and risotto, cured meats, chicken or mild cheeses. The vibrancy of the Beaujolais Villages Combe Aux Jacques is best enjoyed 2-4 years of release.
