Grown on the lower terrace at Te Muna Road, this wine shows a unique level of texture and complexity. The cooler climate of Martinborough ensures the wine is aromatic with steely minerality while the rocky soils gives intensity of the fruit.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks, French oak cuves and French oak barriques. Matured 4 months in French oak uncheons.
Ripe Sauvignon Blanc aromatics with notes of white peach, citrus blossom, honeysuckle and kaffir lime. Harmonious and rich on the palate with ripe citrus and fresh apple and a layered, dry, textural feel. You can cellar it 1 to 4 years from vintage
It’s a pungent sauvignon blanc and it has the palate power to go with it. Passionfruit, steel and lemongrass characters put on a direct, persuasive display. There’s an overt, positive juiciness here. Indeed, this is the kind of wine that made sauvignon blanc so popular in the first place. It delivers.

This has such attractive, pungent and intense passion-fruit, lime and gooseberry aromas. Very pure on the palate with fresh, zesty lime and passion-fruit flavors. On good form here. Drink now.

A 20% drop in yield has resulted in greater intensity. About 12% barrel-fermented. Typical Te Muna wet stone, saline, lime, citrus and blackcurrant bud flavours. Deliciously tangy acid gives a mouth-watering finish.
