From 50yo vines in the sands of Blewitt Springs. 50% was barrel fermented and left on lees for several months, conferring textural detail as much as imparting a chord of authoritative match-struck tension. Brilliant aromas of lemon drop crystals, cheese rind, quince, dried hay and lanolin. The acidity, pungent, juicy and electrifying, towing this very long like an elastic band pulling the saliva from the back of the mouth, unlike most Australian wines that roll across the front. Exceptional.
