80/20% Eden/Barossa Valley; 95/5% shiraz/cabernet sauvignon, from vines on average 30yo. Wild fermented; matured in 5% new French oak barrels. Fruit integrity over oak and artefact is a winning recipe. Glossy and vibrant Barossa shiraz, brimming with spicy black fruits of all kinds, fresh licorice straps, neatly supported by dark chocolate oak and finely textured tannins. There’s a lot to love about it – not least the price. Tyson Stelzer

Opaque inky core and vibrant purple in the rim. Seashells, just-picked blueberry and rosemary aromas. A lot of power with precision on the palate. Intensity of fruit is noticed immediately but it doesn't get out of control as a savoury earthy note balances it almost immediately. Accentuating that savoury note are persistent and fine tannins that provide drive and a long, drying finish. Great quality for a remarkable price.
