A portion of the semillon was fermented in new French oak, which is evident on the palate both texturally and through the finish. This is soft and layered with taut acid that jolts a livewire through the tongue. Perhaps a further 6 months in bottle will pull all the components together. Start drinking mid 2021 onwards (if you can wait that long).
