Youthful purple and vibrant in the glass. Aromas of plums, mulberry, charcuterie, brambles, spice and dried herbs. Sweet, fleshy, juicy and full on the palate. Dark cherry, raspberry, licorice, spice and a lick of charry oak. Lovely brightness of fruit, lively acidity, textured tannin and layered mouth-feel. 04 SEP 2021

Longview’s sense of place is reflected in Varied Inclines Slopes Terrain & Aspects. Given that Australia is known internationally for its unique blends and forward thinking wine-making, it makes sense to use Australia’s hero red variety, Shiraz and blend it with one of Italy’s finest, Barbera.
80% Shiraz, 20% Barbera
All fruit is hand-picked. Both varietals were de-stemmed and crushed before a cool, open co-ferment for 21 days. Maturation occurs in French Oak Hogsheads – 3rd andm4th use - and bottled after 12 months.
