Light yellow colour with smoky, biscuity, nougat aromas and a subtle note of Vegemite. Peanut brittle and pencil-shavings. The palate is very dry thanks to some retained phenolics, low dosage and lively acidity. Good bouquet and flavour, showing some attractive aged character, the finish zesty and invigorating. Appropriate food would deal with that acidity. (50/50 pinot noir and chardonnay, 3.5 grams/litre dosage) 27 MAY 2022 Drink 2022–2027
