After hand-picking, the Grenache (85%) and Mataro (15%) were destemmed and fermented on skins for six days then matured in a combination of 20% new and 80% seasoned French puncheons for 24 months.
On the nose there’s plenty of ripe plum and strawberry playfulness, the beauty and elegance of grenache is immediately apparent. The palate is medium bodied and elegant, loaded with a blend of light and dark red summer fruits, savory nuances and a very fine tannin line finishing soft and supple.
