Deepish red colour with tints of purple, the bouquet peppery, sweet-berried, spicy and very alluring. Likewise, the palate is smooth, balanced and supple, with ample soft tannins and a long carry. There's a subtle touch of meatiness and other nuances that suggest some whole-bunch. A very smart wine, already drinking well. Tasmanian shiraz is seldom this full-throated.20 Dec 2020
