Minimal use of chemicals, produces the best possible fruit for the wines. Wild yeast ferments and minimal intervention winemaking, with a nod to traditional Burgundian techniques, allow our wines to express their site specificity, or terroir.
The Devil Bend Creek Chardonnay is made from fruit from the Osborn Vineyard. This vineyard was planted in the 1990s by friends of ours, and was set up to yield slightly higher crops of fruit than the McIntyre Vineyard. There is a brightness and freshness to this wine that makes it very appealing and easy drinking. It doesn’t spend any time in new oak, so the aromas and flavours are all fruit derived.
