I would add that these are some of the best wines that I have seen Domaine de Perdrix make in many a vintage and they are worth checking out, not only for quality reasons but because they typically sell at reasonable prices.

Moderate wood is present on the spicy and distinctly earthy dark berry fruit scented nose. The sleek, delicious and energetic flavors are youthfully austere, firmly structured and compact but not really rustic. This too is a very fine villages level wine.
