Sorted, 4-day cold soak, 12-14 days' skin contact; matured in barriques (30% new French) for 14 months. Bright crimson. Man alive, this packs a punch, with alternating layers of cassis and tannins that go on and on. Each part is so clearly articulated, the requisite balance will allow this to cruise through the 10+ years it needs. Drink by 2050

A fresh, fruit-focused cabernet with ripe raspberries and red cherries, as well as blackcurrant and lightly leafy tones. The palate is driven by bright and intense fruit with oak adding some extra spicy depth and weight. Agile and drinkable cabernet. Drink now. Screw cap.

The fruit from this excellent vintage comes off a mix of the original 1973 plantings at Juniper and another vineyard about six kilometres away. It’s a vibrant, high energy wine with a strong varietal influence. Quite a deal of tannin evident which is probably a result of the small vintage and intensity from the berries. Love the chalky palate feel and driving intensity which is a feature of 2020. Balanced with exceptional fruit definition. A class act and great value. Drink: 2021-2033

Deep crimson red in colour. The nose offers vibrant, ripe red & black fruits of raspberry, cherry, plum, & blackcurrant with hints of bay leaf, cinnamon, vanilla & dark chocolate. Medium-bodied & plush palate, with rich, ripe fruit showing breadth, depth & concentration. Spice & liquorice complexity, bright acidity, supportive fine tannins, & great persistence of flavour complete the picture. Enjoy with a choice cut of beef or lamb, or portobello mushrooms with garlic butter. Cellar up to 2035.
