100% Adelaide Hills chardonnay. First released after min. 60 months on lees, this has extended time now at 74 months. 100% mlf. Disgorged Dec '20. 6gl/l dosage. pH 3.00. Opens with aromas of apple and lemon cream streusel bun. With a fine pithy mousse, the palate is compelling, with all the citrus/lemon chardonnay excitement it can muster. This is added to by a subtle aldehydic complexity that expresses itself in a light quinine character. Totally engaging. Always among the finest – this is next level.

Bright, light golden-yellow with a tinge of rose-gold. The bouquet is very complex and yet also fresh, smelling of various nuts and dried fruits, dried flowers as well, the bouquet translating perfectly to the palate, which is rich and round, refined as well as intense and the texture creamy. The Beltana is produced using 100% Chardonnay grapes selected from the cool south-facing slopes high in the Adelaide Hills.
Aromas of green apple preceed the preserved lemon and clean minerality on the palate with our signature crisp, mouth-watering finish.
