Estate-grown and selected; matured in new oak, predominantly French, for 18 months. The colour is slightly turbid, although the hue is good; the bouquet, in particular, transmits the oak, the palate fighting back thanks to its considerable length and balance, cassis insisting that it's the most important feature of the wine.
