35% Grenache and 35% Cinsault and 30% Carignan.
This Bandol-based estate has turned out a commendable 2020 Cotes de Provence Rose from a blend of 35% each Cinsault and Grenache, plus 30% Carignan. The lack of Mourvèdre makes a nice point of difference from their Bandol. It's a medium to full-bodied wine, concentrated and intense, with a real density to the mid-palate and attractive notes of tangerine, peach and lime, plus hints of garrigue on the long finish. I wouldn't be surprised to see this drink well through the end of 2022.
