Chocolate and purple fruit on the nose. A subtle juiciness on the palate with blueberries and blackcurrants that are more concentrated than overtly juicy at this point. Supple and generous tannins with a core of minerality, salt, graphite, pencil lead and tobacco. While the fruit intensity is there, it's a little sombre and lean right now. Tasted twice.
