2019 Castagna Ingenue Viognier, Beechworth

Ripe white peach notes are interwoven with sea spray minerals, with the scent of sweet pea in the air. Mandarin flavoured acidity winds its way through the palate picking up elements of fennel, musk and lotus along the way.

Don’t let the more fruit-driven and floral nose on this wine deceive you; this wine is all about minerality and structure. Refined phenolic that just glide across the palate and the acid is bright like the first morning light.
