Spent 8 months on lees and bottle aged further 10 months.
Passionfruit, mango, floral notes, sweet spice, vanilla nuances: all the scents seem to come to life in the glass and come to the nose literally seducing it (literally, a slight exageration). The palate continues to be very expressive, with the florals dominating the other flavours. It is deep, vivid and structured. Very well done. The Flor di Uis is almost always, every year, one of the best wines from Vie di Romans. It will live up to 20 years. Perfect with seafood and crustaceans. Excellent with prawn risotto.
