Pale lemon-yellow colour. Peaches and cream aromatics. Supple stone fruits fill the mouth, but this wine is more about its layers of texture. A crunch of acidity, a hint of oiliness through the middle then finishes with a phenolic grip. Lots going on and that provides great line and length. Hand-picked fruit, whole-bunch pressed with full solids to used French puncheons for natural fermentation and another 3 months chilling out on its lees. A wine with texture, vibrancy and personality. A squirt of lemon/lime juice to the crunchy pears, a dash of cinnamon but savoury toned, with lovely phenolics across the palate.
