Very deep, dense purple/red colour, stains the glass. The aromas are powerfully intense, concentrated, super-ripe and essency, blackberry and mulberry, the palate juicy and full-bodied, with abundant tannins which are supple and ripe. At the core of this wine is a blackhole of pure cassis and unalloyed black currant. The seamless structure promotes silkiness, yet it is underscored so definitively by super-fine tannins that swirl around a heart of dense mid-palate fruit. Black and blueberry, on-point mulberry, green tobacco leaf, a charred and skinned red pepper.
