From a single estate vineyard on the East Coast. Matured 5 months on lees for texture and length; 1.6g/L RS. East Coast Tasmanian acidity brings crunch and vibrancy to a wine that encapsulates the rich, spicy, oily generous feel of true gris. Twelve hours on skins pre-ferment heightens phenolic structure, pushed a little too far and rendering a touch of bitterness on a long finish. It nonetheless delivers the fruit presence, generosity and texture to hold its own.
