From the Channybearup vineyard in Pemberton (planted '94). Pemberton pinot has a very specific smell: strawberry, green olive, black cherry and a brambly kind of wildness to it. The palate is fine, with a real peacock plume in the tail. Mariposa plum sneaks in through the finish. Trophy Best Pinot Noir Mount Barker Show '20.
Earthy beetroot, red cherry and red/flowery fruit bouquet are supported by spicy oak aromas. The palate follows suit with beetroot, cherry and flowery/red fruit, fine tannins and a soft texture.
