Fruit from the Kidman and McLeod vineyards, 10 days on skins, matured in seasoned French oak for 8 months. Coonawarra has a long and established reputation for producing elegant, long-lived shiraz. The beauty here, is that the seasoned oak and relatively short stint within, perfectly sets the fruit up to succeed. It is supported, but not obscured, painting a picture of elegance. The cascade of blackberries, licorice, raspberry and damsons makes for seriously pleasurable mid-week drinking. The price, compelling.

The Coonawarra Series Shiraz is made in a ripe and generous style with elegance and spicy varietal characteristics, typical of this cool climate region.
