Whole berries, barrel-fermented with inoculated yeast and matured for 18 months in French oak (30% new). A lovely dedication to C. J. Wicks, dressed in the most brilliant, vibrant purple hues. Comes alive in the glass, brimming in dark plum, black cherry and spiced fruit from go to whoa. So much poise and energy, you almost forget the tannin structure, which is fine and even throughout. Plenty of class right here.
