Intense ruby red colour; wide and complex to the nose, fruity with prune and cherry jam aroma, notes of tobacco and slightly spicy.
A full-bodied wine, soft and rich in fine tannins, with notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla in the end.

In 1962, 19 winemakers, determined to demonstrate the high potential of wines from Salento, founded “Cantine San Marzano”. A long time has passed since then, yet their old vines still produce rare and precious grapes of intense, elegant Primitivo that ages well.
