Fruit from Wilyabrup and north, individual vineyard blocks are fermented and matured separately. Matured in French oak for 18 months. Cassis, rhubarb and clove on the nose. In the mouth the wine is medium bodied, vibrant and fresh, with fine tannins. Steel shavings through the finish are a little distracting to the berry fruits, but such delicacy is to be expected from the cooler 2019 vintage.
