A monster from the Black Forest. Deep cassis, cocoa and bramble, coupled with leather (both normal and fruit), sweet liquorice and some lighter, green capsicum and mint notes. The palate structure is chalky, even and quite dry, which bodes well for those who like something a bit more rigorous now, as well as if you’re happy to let it soften a little in the cellar.
