Estate-grown in the Sound of White Vineyard, in the upper Waihopai Valley, and fermented in tanks (62 per cent), large French oak foudres (30 per cent), and small oak barrels (8 per cent). A subtle, satisfying wine, still unfolding, it is fragrant and sweet-fruited, with passionfruit and herb flavours, showing very good intensity and vigour, considerable complexity, and a crisp, dry, lengthy finish.
